Welcome to Albatross Swimming School (ASS). We are a registered institution established with aim of saving life, especially for those who work and play around water.
Albatross Swimming School has over 20 years combined experience in the swimming and fitness industry including national and international experience.
Founder Kwami Kpodoh has been coaching for over two decades working with infants to senior citizens to collegiate athletes. He is a former swimming coach at Akosombo International School and currently Junior / Varsity swimming coach at Lincoln Community School in Accra.
He is a certified American Swimming Coaches Association level 1 & 2: The Foundations of Coaching &The Stroke School Coach, International Olympic Committee Level 1 & 2 Coach and Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) UK trained lifeguard. He also trained in CPR for the professional rescuer and personal survival.
Kpodoh Kwami is a vice president of Ghana Aquatic Lifesavers (RLSS Ghana), Second deputy of Greater Accra Swimming Coaches and Officials Association (GASCOA), Member of technical committee of Ghana Swimming Association and Executive member of the Greater Accra Swimming Association.
He is a member of World Swimming Coaches Association (WSCA) USA, American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA) USA, International Life Saving Federation (ILS) Belgium and Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) UK.
Albatross Swimming School delivers certified swimming classes for adults, children and school swimming sessions to an increasing number of Internationals Schools.
In our effort to offer you the best services, we have a support crew of resident seasoned and visiting instructors among whom are Emmanuel Brown (ASA Level 2 Coach / Swimming Lecturer),Partha Majunder (American Swimming Coaches Association Level 4 Coach-International) and a host of others.
Our swimming lessons are designed to teach individuals (minimum age is 6 months) the basic techniques of swimming strokes and life saving skills.

The goal of the Albatross Swimming School is to provide parents and children with fundamental swim knowledge through unique swim lessons in a safe and loving environment.
